Tom joined the firm’s commercial litigation and class action practices in 2017.
Tom spent most of his life in Texas and graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas in Austin in 2010 with a B.A. in History and Spanish. In 2014, Tom moved to St. Louis to attend Washington University School of Law after being awarded a full-tuition scholarship.
During law school, Tom worked as research assistant for Professor David M. Becker in addition to working on employment law matters as a law clerk for the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. Tom also served as a Staff Editor for the Washington University Law Review.
Tom’s hard work during law school earned him a number of awards, including the Carmody MacDonald Legal Practice Excellence Award for 2014-15 and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for receiving the highest grade in Legal Practice II (Advocacy), Legal Research, Legal Advocacy in Health Law and Policy (seminar) International and Transnational Labor Law (seminar), Environmental Law, and Constitutional Law.
In his free time, Tom enjoys watching and playing soccer, listening to music, and spending time in St. Louis’s many wonderful parks.
