Q: What is Accutane and why is it used?
A: Accutane was an oral form of vitamin A developed by Hoffman LaRoche Company, which was used to treat severe acne (nodular acne).
Q: Why is Accutane dangerous?
A: As a result of several large lawsuits, Hoffman LaRoche Company pulled Accutane from the market in June of 2009.
