Thomas P. Rosenfeld

Tom Rosenfeld joined Goldenberg Heller Antognoli & Rowland, P.C. in April 2009 and became a partner in April 2010. In his 24 year career, Tom has litigated complex cases in virtually every area of commercial law, including environmental contamination, real estate, insurance coverage, securities, tobacco, class actions, employment discrimination, pharmaceutical and consumer fraud. As lead trial and appellate counsel, Tom has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts or settlements. These verdicts and settlements include jury verdicts of $7.6 million and $5.0 million against one of the nation’s largest banks for environmental contamination in connection with an EPA clean-up, a $3.8 million verdict from a D&O insurer and the FDIC in a suit brought by directors of a failed lending institution and a $1.8 million verdict from a national day-care company for property damage and waste to child care facilities in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Tom also has extensive trial and appellate experience in successfully defending businesses, obtaining defendant’s verdicts on behalf of a Missouri developer in a trial and appeal over a $3.6 million real estate sale contract, on federal employment discrimination claims brought against a downtown St. Louis hotel and on a $1.2 million guaranty brought against purchasers of a dental practice.

Acting as a Special Assistant Attorney General to the State of Missouri in its suit to recover Medicaid payments from the Tobacco industry from 1998 to 2001, Tom developed and presented the evidence of Missouri’s central theme of Tobacco’s targeting of African-Americans youths in Missouri.

Previously, in 1991, Tom founded the litigation department at Stone Leyton & Gershman, P.C, where he practiced commercial litigation for 17 years. In 2007, Tom was asked to join Korein Tillery, LLC, as a partner to run the firm’s day-to-day work as Co-Lead Counsel in the consumer fraud Federal Multi-District Class Action Litigation, In Re Motor Fuel Temperature Sales Practices Litigation, MDL No. 1840, in Kansas, and in the California consumer fraud class action, Klein v. Chevron U.S.A., Case No. BC367812, in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
