When I was in seventh grade, I was given an essay assignment – “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up.” I suppose this is the age that children start to think of wanting to be something more than baseball players or princesses.
I chose a lawyer. Obviously, it stuck. My essay focused on the fact that my ultimate goal was to help people. That remains true today and that is, I believe, what being a lawyer is all about. We are called “counselors” for a reason; and I keep that first in my mind whenever I represent a client.
I went to law school at the University of Texas in Austin. After graduation, I wasn’t sure in which field of law I wanted to specialize. I worked as a defense attorney representing insurance companies and quickly learned this was not for me. Today, I am proud to be representing plaintiffs against insurance companies and big industry – giving individuals a voice when they otherwise would not be heard.
During my career, I have represented injured plaintiffs against makers of diet drugs, individuals against investment companies in securities fraud cases, and victims and their families stricken by cancers caused by exposure to asbestos and benzene.
I am proud to be an associate at Goldenberg, Heller, Antognoli, & Rowland, and am here to help you. Please call or email me anytime for a free consultation.
