Holly A. Reese

My interest in the law came at a young age, when my family needed the assistance of an attorney. I have always remembered the confidence and comfort that our attorney provided during a very difficult time, and strive to provide those same qualities for my clients. Having grown up in Madison County, I am grateful for the opportunity to practice here and give back to my community.

After completing my undergraduate degree in Personal Financial Management at the University of Missouri-Columbia, I attended Washington University School of Law. While attending Washington University, I was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Tax Policy Seminar. I also had the opportunity to have my work published under “Taft-Hartley Act (1947).” Major Acts of Congress. Ed. Brian K. Landsberg. Macmillan-Thompson Gale, 2004.

During law school, I interned at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis. I joined GHAR after law school, and began advocating for injured workers in Illinois and Missouri. This led to my involvement in welding fume litigation in both Missouri and Illinois, as well as Multidistrict Litigation for Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation.

In 2008, I was presented with the opportunity to join the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation group, where I was able to use my business background in representing a wide variety of clients. I represent business clients in day to day transactional matters, as well as complex litigation. I also represent individuals with the delicate issues of estate planning and probate.

When I am away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family doing various outdoor activities, reading, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Missouri Tigers. I am also actively involved in Relay for Life, which raises funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society.
